8th graders may choose the Eureka Math/Zearn path or the Art of Problem Solving Path  The Eureka Math/Zearn path is primarily for students who do not seek to earn a high school credit for High School Math 1 at the end of 8th grade.  The Art of Problem Solving path is primarily for students who do wish to earn high school credit for High School Math 1.

A very few students, qualified by testing in the spring and coursework over the summer, will be taking High School Math 2 via the North Carolina Virtual Public Schools system.
